Dr. Gil Chimes

Dr. Gil Chimes is the Owner and Clinic Director of Greenwich Sports Medicine in Greenwich, CT. He is a sports chiropractor who specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal as well as sports injuries. He has post-graduate degrees in sports medicine (CCSP), Acupuncture and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is a Diplomate of the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology (DIBCN) and also has post-graduate training in rehabilitation and nutrition. Dr. Chimes provides unique treatments by combining soft tissue techniques, such as Active Release (ART), with Contemporary Medical Acupuncture and joint manipulation to optimize his results. Years of academic and hands-on experience have thrusted him to the front of his field, making him the go-to practitioner for some of the most complicated cases among Olympic and professional athletes. His success with these patients has earned him the position as the consulting chiropractor with the NYCFC (MLS) soccer team as well as The New York Yankees (MLB) baseball team, where he spends most home games in the locker room treating players.
