Dr. Rago is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and Clinical Nutrition programs. He has been an avid athlete his entire life, playing competitive soccer, lacrosse and ski racing at a junior Olympic level. He played lacrosse in college and became a certified personal trainer where he began working with clients of all ages, health and fitness levels. It was during this time that Dr. Rago began to develop his own ideas of the practice of healthy living and athletic performance.

Dr. Rago’s philosophy as a sports medicine doctor has evolved from the techniques and evidence-based medical practices that he was trained in while attending school and through his personal experience working with his clients on fitness, rehabilitation and nutritional level.

Dr. Rago’s goal as a sports physician is to restore and improve functional movement patterns and to improve his patients’ athletic performance and overall life through chiropractic, acupuncture, and corrective exercise.

Dr. Rago has had experience working with patients of all ages and walks of life. He has worked with athletes of all levels of development and performance. He consults with the MLS team, NYCFC. He has treated professional bodybuilders, baseball players and MMA fighters. While in Chiropractic College, Dr. Rago had the opportunity to work with the University of Bridgeport NCAA National Champion swim team along with the entire athletic program including the soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis, and gymnastics teams. He has a true passion for helping people and his focus lies within sports medicine and athletic rehabilitation and performance.
